Our latest custom designed wedding invitations have vintage rustic charm! For a couple that loves the outdoors and will be getting married at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers, what better theme could there be than kraft botanical information cards? The suite includes cards for the ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, day-after bbq, and rsvp. All cards were stacked and held together with twine for an extra rustic touch.

The 42nd SGC International Printmaking Conference will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area March 26-29, 2014. Various exhibitions will be running concurrently with the Conference; and on Wednesday, March 26th, the Academy of Art University will hold the opening reception for its Printmaking and Book Arts show.

Two of Paola's books will be exhibited at the Academy of Art University show: From Inside and the untitled book informally known as the dream book. Come by the Atelier Gallery on March 26th from 6pm to 9pm to check out the books!

Press 65 recently had the pleasure of working with one of the coolest couples. With an intimate Oregon wedding, including a ceremony under a big oak tree, Mac and Kim we're just our kind of clients.

These invitations were designed with their venue in mind, and a structure that spoke to the couple's love of paper and books.

Because Mac is a graphic designer with an appreciation for letterpress, he was interested in the printing process. Press 65 documented everything and a gallery of photos can below.

Illustrator Mr Bingo was drunk late one night in his studio and tweeted, “I will send a postcard with an offensive message on to the first person who replies to this tweet”. Within the first minute over 50 people replied and over the last twelve months Bingo has posted out artistic abuse to more than 550 people, each piece of slander comes accompanied with an original illustration on the back of a pleasant vintage postcard.

After discussing the design the client would be providing us with, we decided Crane's Lettra 220 lb. would be the best paper option. The results were beautiful.

Press 65 is thrilled to announce that Paola's limited edition artist's book From Inside has been selected to appear in Lark Books' 500 Handmade Books, Volume 2! The book's author is Julie Chen of Flying Fish Press.

The book's description reads as follows:

I loved that the cat in the bottom right seems like he has a horse's head.
The photos in one gallery juxtaposed portraits of the wealthy with portraits of the poor. Subjects hand-wrote their reactions to their portraits on the prints themselves.
